  • A: We believe in fast answers. You will receive a comprehensive digital report on the same day as your scan, which you can easily share with your GP or specialist if required.

  • A: There is no lift / elevator, we are on the 1st floor, help can be provided whilst using the stairs.

  • A: We share the premises with King’s Dental at 36 North End Rd, London W14 0SH.

    Once you arrive for your appointment, please contact us on the number provided and we will meet you on the ground level.

  • A: No, you do not need a GP referral to book most of our ultrasound scans. As a private clinic, you can self-refer and book directly with us. However, if you would like the results shared with your GP or consultant, we are happy to send them a copy with your consent.

  • A: Preparation depends on the type of scan you are having.

    Abdominal scans: You may be asked to fast for 4–6 hours.

    Pelvic scans: A full bladder is usually required.

  • A: Yes. Ultrasound scans are very safe and use sound waves (not radiation) to create images. They are routinely used in pregnancy and medical imaging worldwide and have an excellent safety profile.

  • A: Yes, you are welcome to bring one companion to your appointment. We understand that scans can be an important and sometimes emotional experience. For pregnancy scans, one guest is usually permitted. Please inform us in advance if you plan to bring someone.

  • A: If we identify any findings that require further medical assessment, we will explain everything clearly and provide you with a detailed report. With your permission, we can also forward the report to your GP or specialist for follow-up care.

  • A:

    Cancellation & Fees:

    • 48-Hour Notice: If you cancel or reschedule your appointment with less than 48 hours' notice, the deposit will not be returned.

    • Processing Fees: In the event of a cancellation, any transaction or administrative fees charged to Ultramsono by the card provider will be deducted from any potential refund or charged to the customer.
